Hi Guys
I use a simple Reagrds, George as my signature in OE e-mails but in the past, I also had an animated sig as well. I have just downloaded an appropiate animated one fro Keith's animated sigs but I cannot insert it somehow. I am doing oe/tools/options/signatures/c/o file/navigate to sig/ insert/apply/ok but no good. I can still insert my text sig but not animation Any advice please

The good news is that yes, it can be done.

Frenchy
I simply click on the insert tab, then use the pop-up panel that comes up to browse to my animated signature.

Sorry for the delay.
Okay, if you want a signature in Outlook Express that consists of text AND an animated gif, here's what you do. In notepad, write the following code... Quote:
Then go to Outlook Express options where you set up signatures. Click "new signature" and change the radio button from "text" to "file" and click "browse." In the browsing box, use the "Files of type" dropdown to select html files. Then browse to and chose your saved HTML file. It works. Give it a go..... If you get any problems, I'll try to explain it better! |

That is interesting Skyrunner, but the problem for me is that while I use my First name for writing to friends and relations, I sometimes send emails to suppliers, etc, which need to be a bit more formal, and that is why I use the insert tab>picture, for my animated signature.
