Hello George,

I've had a quick look at the site builder and I noted it said:

Please Note: BlueVoda requires a VodaHost web hosting account in order to publish.
Does this mean they want money?

Regards,
Tezzer.

The composer is free and is brilliant.

It publishes to their hosting site and converts their proprietary file to html.
I am trying to write a site in BlueVoda, preview in a broswer and GRAB the site. this can then be saved as an HTML, I hope.

anyone else want to try?

george

Lots of hosting services have these website building tools to help their clients assemble their web pages. I imagine it can only be used to put pages onto this Voda hosting however.

i.e. You need to be having your site hosted by Voda.

These can be handy for people who don't want to learn HTML.
The problem is most of them add reams of unnecessary code and are very hard to fault find.
I have in the past reduced two pages of code down to less than a page.
By removing all the surplus code added by a site hosts editor, without affecting the visual page.
HTML is not that hard to learn and is far easier in the long run.

As I said in a previous message.

It can be used to write/ produce the page and when previewd in a browser the code can be saved.

The benefit is that you can use the hosts help pages and forums.

No need to use their hosting at all.

There are many people who do not wish to learn HTML, Java, CSS, PHP, Xhtml etc etc But do want to produce a quick web page.
