Default AEX Files

I have a CD called Greeting Card Factory.
It has an installation disc and two other CD's with graphics on.

I have had no problem with the installation disc, but I can't get the other two to work.

When I click on them, they read as AEX file.
I have tried to open them various ways but with no luck so far.

Can anyone help me out here please?

I have graphics on the installations disc, but it would be nice to see what is on the other two.

Is it Nova Developments Greeting card Factory you have?

Apparently these could be files for that program. Have you tried opening the files from within the factory program?

(Open the program, go to File>open and choose one of the files. Click open.)

See if that works.

Hi Skyrunner.

No, its not the one you said, its Art Explosion Greeting Card Factory Delux.

However I did try what you suggested but it didn't work

I've done it!!!!
I got to feeling that is must open some way.
So I opened the programme up, and put the disc in.

Then I started clicking on various things to open it up.
I must have clicked on something I hadn't tried before, and hey presto it worked.

In case anyone else has this problem, open up the programme, put the disc in then click on Insert.

I don't know, its easy when you know how isn't it?

Oh I didn't realise you didn't have the discs in. Yes, that's the way to do it. I suspect the AEX is simply a shortcut to the file's location on the disc, music files have something similar.

I think the Art Explosion program you have is made by Nova. That's just about the sum of my knowledge about it!!!

Pleased you're up and running.
