Web Design and Graphics Room. Thread, how to post a picture

Is it me (probably)

For some reason I cannot manage to create a link to pictures from a webpage. I click on Img then paste the url to the picture and then close the tab, but nothing happens.

More importantly, I have a few pictures I have taken and wish to enter them in the photo competition, how do I upload them here.

I am definitely gettin old. :cry:

If you want to post a pic in forums, you need the url address of picture 'on the web'. You do it thus...


NB: You can't give the address of pics on your computer.

To post pics in IDF competitions, click on 'Album' at top of Forum Index page, then click on August - Holidays, then click on 'upload pic' button at bottom-left.

Then, with cursor in 'upload a pic from your machine' box, you can browse to get picture from your computer's folders, then press Submit.

I'm assuming you've got your pictures on a website somewhere?

And you know the URL of that picture?

Right, you're composing your post in the box on IDF. Paste in your URL for your picture, then select it with your cursor.

THEN click on "Img" It should appear in your post. :wink:


For the photo competition, it's as woodrow said.
