Wonderful afternoon yesterday playing with my three year old grandaughter in the garden and thought how lucky we are.
It also jogged my memory as someone had recently sent me an article from the Grandparents Association that estimated 1 million grandchildren are denied contact with their grandparents as a result of adoption, divorce, separation or family feud. If anyone is denied contact with their grandchildren it might be worth contacting: www.grandparents-association.org.uk |

Graham, it is truly delightful to be with our Grandchildren.
My Daughter had a boy first, he is 3, then along came Mia, she is 1. Liam turns 4 in August, Mia turns 2 in June. We've a lot of problems with Grandparents being denied the joy of their Grandchildren, usually the fault of the nutter of a Mother no longer with the child's Father. Quite a few of my friends are experiencing this and I must admit, having listened and watched, that I'm 90% in favour of the Fathers in these situations. The women go to Court, usually as a 'freebie', lie through their teeth and get away with it. So hard to comprehend how this system continues in the manner in which it does. |
