Technical Problems Thread, Reactions too fast?

Any one else suffering from this message , it pops up on most of my replies to the Word and Number Game forum and I'm not that quick!!

Yes, logicalN, I get it all the time and put it down to my typing too fast.

Don't think it's anything to do with BB hilda. :roll:

It's more to do with the board reacting too quickly.

If you are slower in replying it doesn't happen.

This board does load very fast and because users are replying as fast as they can then the board must get a bit 'overloaded'?

Happens a lot to me as well!

I had thought it might be due TO the speed OF BB or ones processor? BB is a lot faster with reactions ; but maybe this board takes things slower at times :idea:

I see what you mean hilda but if that was the case then it would happen with all the boards you visit.

Yes it's annoying. Another one is when viewing a photograph and you click on the (author's name) you get a message saying "this user does not exist". Check the conventional way and you see the person's profile as you should.

We have established this as a 'block' to combat rapid-fire flooding of our site by rogue (bot) entries.

Surely that is not too much a burden to any of you--given the potential alternatives??
