Technical Problems Thread, Smilies go missing when posting

Noticed we have a glitch with Smilies; in some sections you can attempt to add a smiley to your post but on submission it is not there

I have given one to this post after the word 'there'' in the previous sentence but on preview it is vanished

seems I can have two together so far on preview;

now what will be here when I press submit ? I still have my smiles; BUT can have two and not one

I found the same thing but only when trying to put a smiley into a post that has a photo or image in it. Something that seems to work OK is putting the smiley's code into a post rather than just clicking on the face you want. To find out the codes for various smilies, click the '[More]' link to the right of the text entry box. The codes can be copied and pasted into posts from there.
