I have just finished a fairly complex plea for printer help in Computers which just vanished on pressing Submit and I then found myself logged out.
This is the third time in the past weeks. Is there a problem,or is it me?

I have no answer for you, it has happened to me at odd times, it is I suppose just one of those things, that happen from time to time with no explaination as to why.

Hello Verinuchap,

You have my sympathy, I too in the past have experienced this strange event just as you have.
What I do now if I intend to post anything with lots of detail or it is a long reply, I write it in Word first and save it to Desktop.
Or of course there is the Save To Clipboard at the bottom of the reply box.

Regards,
Tezzer.

If you don't have Word use, Notepad every MS version has it and is one of the most useful programs and grossly under rated.
Most web authors use it for code work as its a basic text editor with no formating to corrupt there work.
I have it on the quick launch bar to copy and paste all manor of things, like links and information to post on IDF.
Also for composing topics and replies for posting.
