Default Logging in

I liked the look of this site so I registered & received the 2 emails accepting the registration & activation but my log on was not accepted even though I was entering the correct password, etc.I sent the following email to the BOARD ADMINISTRATOR.
: 02/18/05 19:32:09
To: admin@idf50.co.uk
Subject: Log in

I try to log in but get rejected.I have registered, been accepted & have been activated. I put in correct user name & password but I get rejected saying I have not. I tried re-registering & then get told the user name, password & email address by another member.Of course ,it is ME.
I'm frustrated, please help!!!

KennyM
I sent the above email twice & both were returned to me undelivered.I am only able to write this because I re-registered under another name. Mettyk

I am sorry to her about this. Could you let me know your user name and e-mail address and I will see if I can sort it out.

Sarah I've noticed in reception, it seems that a few of the new IDF'ers have been having problems signing up.

Betty - That is because we are not allowing new members at the moment. Since all the trouble about a month ago we have stopped nearly all the new people that register. I am occasionally letting the odd one through, but kas and I agree that it should continue for a bit longer.

We have had lots of undesirables trying to register three or four times. One today tried when yesterday he had registered under a different name and e-mail address. The thing that gave him away was that he had the same interests - they were very unique.

I hope this explanation solves your problems.

Many thanks Sarah for the explanation, because all is quiet on the Western front, I didn't think back to our recent troubled times.
I wouldn't have your job for quids, thanks for the continued diligence of yourself and Kas.
