Questions about our Clubhouse Thread, Attachment control panel

I have just looked at my attachments, only a few %.
Question: If I delete them does it remove them from the actual post that they are attached to or not.
What I am saying is, if I was to view a previous post with an attached photograph relevant to the post, would the picture still remain viewable if attachment is deleted in control panel.

The one I am talkiing about, is the personal attacment control panel in my profile. If I delete them does it have any effect on main site, if it does then I wont delete them. looking for the answer.
Yes: you can delete, no effect on main site.
No: if you delete will effect main site.
So is the answer, yes or no.
Just wanted to know.

Glad I checked, will not go anywhere near it and will not delete anything. Will practice what I preached in the Forum dont delete anything with out checking first. Regards Peter
