    Hi valentine.
In my youth I followed Modern Jazz,Stan Kenton ,Miles Davis etc and the voices of Ella Fitzgerald,June Christy,Peggy Lee,Billy Ekstine, Frank Sinatra were my choice of music and singers.
In todays world I listen Jazz FM and Piano Bar type music .

I've just discovered the music of Francis Lai - a French composer, now 80 years of age, who has written the most beautiful music over the years.

I first heard this piece from 'Bilitis' (an erotic French film) when I opened an email from a friend with a link entitled, English Astronomie2, and it is the third/last track:

The accompanying music to this brilliant piece is, in a word which I don't often use, AWESOME.

I'm often a few years behind everyone else in my 'latest discoveries' and most likely you have all heard and seen it many times before, so please forgive me if you have. Otherwise ENJOY!!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in side-ways ~ chardonnay in one hand ~ chocolate in the other ~ body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'Woo, hoo, what a ride!'.

Real music. Too difficult for the pop people to understand.
