I didn't like 3D in the cinema. The picture seems darker. I watched it in a TV shop and found the same. Without the glasses the picture looked fine as regards brightness, but with them it is too dark. I know that the brightness can be turned up, but that would spoil it for when a 2D programme is on. I for one won't be bothering.

It is all a bit new for me.
When I bought my last TV I refused to look at the 3D TV (LG @ that time) just in case I wanted one.

I think 3D television and cinema is good. We haven't got a 3D TV at present, so no 3D Olympics here. The next lounge TV we buy will certainly have the capability of showing it. A new TV is probably a long way off though. The present one shows no sign of going wrong ...but you never know.

I had a look on the Eurosport 3D channel, it did look a bit odd as my TV is not a 3D set. I don't fancy looking at a javelin coming out the screen at me.

I think it's generally considered not very sporting to throw a javelin at the cameraman.

I haven't watched the Olympics in 2D yet.
However, there is no escape on the news!!
