We have just booked as cheap Travelodge room in London £19
and a £10 GNER ticket to go with it (that Cheep cheep man) my no 1 daughter and I have been doing it for yonks now. 8)
We do our Christmas Shopping there too... we even know of a Chinese restaurant in the heart of China Town-Soho- where U can get a meal (roast duck)for under a fiver :lol:

I have just spent a night in one of their rooms and it was dreadful, dark and miserable looking and I reckon an old smoking room because it stank of stale tobacco. Could not change it that night as it was full, so just had to put up with it, all this at a cost of £50 and a takeaway breakfast for £4.50, My impression was that it was a rip of. The hotel was at Leamington Spa.
