Been There Thread, Dukw

Just had a go on the Dukw Bus Tour. This starts just by the London Eye. The vehicle is a World War 2 amphibious 6 wheeled open truck, painted a bright yellow. My ride was as a result of a present from 2 of my Granddaughters who sent me a voucher. The tour consists of a tour round London.Parliament.Whitehall.Trafalgar Square. PallMall.StJames Palace.Parliament Square.Embankment.Lambeth Bridge. Down a steep slope into the River Thames and a trip under LambethBridge as far as Westminster Bridge (Houses of Parliament riverside) and back then return to the Start
Absolutely Great. Recommended for all and lots of fun especially as we had a superb Courier with lots of humourous chat.

Sounds likea great present. Humph. Been awhile since I'veseen one of those. I received a UK newspaper in the postl today, courtesy of my sister in Wales, and there was a bit about DUKWs in there.
