Artists Studio Thread, Autumn Tints

I recently went to a workshop with Geoff Kersey. where he taught us to paint a woodland in autumn

This was a most enjoyable experience, and I certainly learned a lot

There's something about that painting which I really love, and it isn't just the beautiful colours. It has a certain style to it thats somehow different to the norm.
Autumn is my favourite season, just a pity it's followed by Winter ...

Mixed six washes first, and they were then all applied on wet paper in about three minutes.

It is beautiful - especially the dark and light. Colours are so pure - no muddy at all. Very, very nice.
