To highlight/select the image, place the mouse pointer an inch or so to the right of it. Hold the mouse button down and move the pointer back across the picture until its background turns blue.

Bluebird
The picture is in 3 layers. The bottom layer is black. The middle layer is the face. The top layer is the original picture made semi opaque. Then all merged to 1. Done! Ivy If you can see it without selecting it you might have the contrast too high on your monitor. bob12a My saintly avatar will not be saintly over halloween. Might still keep you awake though. I'm trying to use the GIMP. It can do all that I did with Paint Shop Pro but does it a different way.
