Artists Studio Thread, Idols

I have started the thread below in the clubhouse but I'm hoping you guys might contribute some of your own work. Have a read through and post your drawings both here and in the clubhouse thread making sure you give yourself and the Artists Studio a good plug.

Idols from when you were a kid. Add pics/drawings of anyone who you idolised or was a fan of when still at school. Could be a film star, singer, teacher, mum, dad, politician, war hero, writer, even a pet, book or comic hero - I've started with Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future from the Eagle comic. I couldn't wait for the Eagle to come out everyweek and still have some early editions.

Every so often if we get enough pics I hope to put them together as a sort of giant poster. I know Peter Blake (Sgt Pepper and all that) did something similar many years ago, so we are in good company.

I am also hoping that some of our talented artists in the Artists Studio might draw/paint pics/caricatures of their idols for inclusion as well.

It would be a help (but don't worry) if you could resize or crop your pics to 150x200 pixels - to make it easier assembling the poster.
