thanks Kingy - I will see what I can do.

BTW, what should you do to the edge of the canvas? Carry your paint over it - leave it clean ( impossible) or paint it a base colour? Looks a mess at the moment.

I always carry the colour of paint around the edges, in this case is very easy as you have only blue(sky and water) and sand, whatever colour you used...nice colour that one...
You can frame it if you want....remember the Lady who framed one of my Picasso ones...
My son wants me to frame the girls portraits when I have finished them...I have still painted the edges though...

As you know I'm not an expert JJ but I think that your painting is lovely.

Thanks Joelle for that.
I felt the lack of response said it all really

I certainly am no expert at proper painting but if you don't try you can't improve can you?

i aim to to do another this week - it is very relaxing although my office floor is a real mess - paint splats everywhere.

Hi JJ, I think you have done very well with this, good colouring and motion in the sea, you should be very proud of yourself

Well done JJ, did you find it annoying when your paint keeps drying and you can use it again, I do, and I keep trying to use it like water colours, and of course that doesn't work at all.

FF, have you tried keeping a spray bottle of water handy, just spray lightly over the top of the Acrylics on your palette... don't put too much water with it...
